A working roastery you can watch from the counter, in Zurich's Langstrasse district — Kreis 4's grittier, nightlife-driven answer to the manicured city center around Bahnhofstrasse. Miro roasts its own beans daily on-site, and the shop is built as much around the production side of the business as the counter service, with the roasting equipment visible rather than tucked into a back room most customers never see. Bags of the day's roast, along with house merchandise, are sold directly from the attached shop, making this one of the more transparent roaster-to-cup setups in the city.
The industrial-showroom look — steel, exposed machinery, functional rather than decorative — fits a business that treats roasting as the main event and the cafe as the natural extension of it. Weekday mornings run long, closing mid-afternoon rather than staying open into the evening, and weekends keep a shorter, steadier schedule.
