Broom 44 sits right at the edge of Dolac, Zagreb's open air market, running a vegetarian and vegan brunch menu alongside espresso and filter coffee poured from the roaster Fildz. Handmade cups and a small, workable room have made it a regular stop for people settled in with a laptop as much as for the breakfast crowd.

The kitchen leans plant based without making a point of it, eggs and market produce sourced a few steps from the front door. Dogs are welcome, and outdoor seating catches the morning market crowd heading in and out of Dolac.
