Yokohama Coffee Stand

Tucked between the crowds of Motomachi and Chinatown, Yokohama Coffee Stand is a small white and wood space built around the Swedish idea of fika, a deliberate coffee break rather than a quick caffeine stop. Seating is limited, so most people take their cup and walk the five minutes to Yamashita Park or Harbor View Park instead of lingering at the counter.

The menu runs from hand drip filter and straight espresso to milk brew, cold brew and coffee cocktails like an espresso tonic and a cold brew mojito style drink, plus a panna cotta made from milk brew and Hokkaido cream served in an espresso cup. Beans are sold whole or as drip bags in both blend and single origin options for anyone who wants to keep the fika going at home.
