Bon Coin Coffee

Bon Coin Coffee grew out of Bon Coin, a confectionery shop that owner Sekiba's family had run on the Ichozaka shopping street for thirty five years. After discovering specialty coffee, Sekiba trained through competitions and cupping seminars before opening a dedicated coffee shop in 2012, later relocating a short walk away to the current spot on Maruyamadai, two minutes from Kaminagaya Station, where an open terrace looks onto the street.
The shop roasts in house across light to dark levels and pours siphon coffee and espresso tonic alongside filter and espresso basics, with neighborhood blends named Maruyamadai and Ichozaka after the surrounding streets. Beans are sold from 100 grams so first time customers can try a coffee before committing to a full bag, and regulars travel in from across the ward for tastings at the counter.
