Luvsic Coffee

Luvsic Coffee occupies a small room in the Saigao Street district off Fengcheng Fifth Road in Weiyang District, run by a founder who spent years behind the bar at Starbucks, working up to black apron level before opening this shop as an independent project. The space stays compact, built around a large service counter, with siphon equipment set up in view of the seats so customers can watch a pot go through its cycle.

Luvsic roasts its own beans from a rotating list of origins and treats siphon brewing as the house specialty alongside hand poured single origin coffee, priced well below what the training and equipment might suggest. The founder also placed first in a regional latte art competition run through the Starbucks Central China circuit before leaving to open Luvsic, and that background still shows in the milk work behind the counter.
