Others Coffee

A bright corner at Others Coffee with small round tables, wooden stools, a wavy framed mirror, a shelf of bagged coffee and art prints on the wall

Others Coffee began in 2020 as an online roaster run by two baristas who started with a tabletop roaster, a single origin from Yirgacheffe and a box they designed themselves. The name acknowledges everyone connected through a cup of coffee, from the farmers to the people drinking it, and the roast profiles, packaging and mugs are all still made in house.

The cafe on Florida Avenue grew out of the pop ups that followed and still works on a small scale, with limited hours and a short menu while the team builds out the space. The shelf currently carries a Colombian light roast, a medium roast from Guatemala and a darker Brazilian lot, each with notes and farm details printed for the curious. The room doubles as a gathering place for sketch sessions, collage afternoons and other small events.
