Origin Coffee Lab and Kitchen

Origin Coffee Lab and Kitchen took more than three years to develop as a place where exceptional coffee and good food could sit side by side, and it opened in early 2021 at Westpost, the former Pentagon Row, in Arlington's Pentagon City. The founder and roaster, who had opened a first cafe in Dubai, put a small Probat roaster where visitors can see it from the seating area.

The coffee is roasted in house, and the bar works with a range of single origin lots from Brazil, Ethiopia, Kenya and Colombia, served through several brewing methods as well as espresso on a Slayer machine. A kitchen supports the bar with food through the day, and bags of the house roasts can be ordered online. The cafe is open every day from seven in the morning until eight at night, with the roastery in view of the room.
