Nagadi Coffee Roastery

Nagadi Coffee is a small roastery in Silver Spring whose name comes from Ge'ez, the ancient Ethiopian language, where it means traveler. The idea is that a cup of coffee can carry the drinker to another land, and each lot is roasted to bring out the flavors and aromas that its climate, varietal, terroir and processing method gave it.
The lineup changes with the season and has recently included single origin coffees from Ethiopia, Honduras, Indonesia, Peru and Rwanda, sold as whole beans and shipped Monday to Thursday. The roastery opens its doors to the public on Saturday mornings, when customers can collect orders and choose from a short espresso menu with ristretto, macchiato, cappuccino, cortado, latte and cold brew.
