DUA DC

DUA DC opened in September 2019 across from McPherson Square as an Indonesian specialty coffee shop, built around the idea that every island has its own story and should be roasted to tell it properly. The team roasts in small batches in house, origin by origin, so the character that soil, altitude and processing give each bean is kept intact, and the shelf includes rarities such as a rare Excelsa varietal from Indonesia.

The long, narrow room runs from a tiled espresso bar back along a wall mural. Signature drinks borrow from Indonesian flavors, among them an Aren latte made with palm sugar, an oat pandan cold brew and a kopi susu latte, alongside espresso and pour over. Whole beans and tumblers are sold at the counter, and ordering ahead for pickup is available.
