Celtic Cup Coffee

Celtic Cup Coffee is a roastery and tasting room in downtown Silver Spring that began as a Maryland cottage food business and opened its storefront in January 2025. It stocks only specialty grade single origin coffees and roasts them to order in micro batches as small as one pound, at whatever roast level the customer prefers, from extra light to extra dark.

Visitors can taste before committing to a pound, with a daily selection of three brewed coffees, pour overs and straight espresso from any current lot, and tasting flights of three brews or three espressos. A few sweet treats, loose teas and a cascara chai made from dried coffee cherries are also on the counter, along with brewing gadgets. Tables sit outside the glass front. It is open six days a week and closed on Sunday.
