STOR Café Tamka

STOR opened in 2014 in a curved corner building on Tamka street in Powiśle, a former plumbing office whose original window sills and bar tiles were kept, and it is remembered as one of the first third wave cafes in the city. Founder Krzysztof Rzyman has since grown the idea into a second STOR on Bracka street and ROST, a roastery that carries the same care for how coffee is made.
The little room has tall shop windows onto the street, plenty of plants, and a communal table that suits both morning espresso stops and long laptop afternoons. Alongside espresso drinks, matcha, cold brew, and pour over, the cafe bakes its own cakes and tries to keep waste, plastic, and emissions low, with a composter for food and coffee scraps and a discount for anyone who brings their own cup.
