Relaks

A cappuccino with leaf latte art in a navy rimmed cup on a wooden table at Relaks

Relaks fills a Stary Mokotów storefront on Puławska with vintage, mismatched chairs and low tables, shelves of beans, and walls covered in Polish poster art, a look built up over years rather than styled for an opening. The bean shelf rotates rather than settling on one house roaster, which keeps regulars checking back to see what's poured that week.

The room shifts into a natural wine bar as the evening goes on, one of the few Warsaw specialty spots that works equally well for a morning coffee and laptop session or a glass of wine after dark. Dogs turn up often enough that regulars have their own hashtag for it, #relaksowepieski, a small sign of how settled into the neighborhood the place has become.
