JAVA CAFE Speciality Roasters

JAVA CAFE is the flagship counter for JAVA Coffee Roasters, a company whose roots trace back to Stoney Point Java, a Warsaw cafe chain launched in 1999 that formally became JAVA Coffee Company in 2001. The roastery built out its specialty credentials over the following two decades: mainland Europe's first SUKI Tea distributor in 2007, Cup of Excellence membership and an internal JAVA University training program from 2009, a Loring Kestrel 35kg roaster in 2013, and a Polish Roasting Championship title in 2018 under head roaster Rafal Kaniewski, who went on to place eighth at the World Roasting Championship in Rimini the following year.
The cafe itself started as a five square meter pop up with a desk built from pallets and has grown into a purpose built counter inside the Fabryka Norblina complex, a converted factory now home to the roastery's most polished retail space. Espresso and filter run alongside alternative brew methods, French pastries, sandwiches made to order, and plant based milk from Sproud, all under the company's own line: good coffee is a human right.
