Błysk Espresso Bar

Błysk is a small espresso bar with a vintage feel on a pedestrian stretch of Słowackiego in northern Warsaw, founded together by Michał Ciupiński and his wife Basia Ciupińska, who also works the counter as manager. Michał is a decorated competitive barista, a Polish Barista Championship winner and two time Polish Coffee in Good Spirits champion with a string of runner up finishes since his first national appearance in 2020, and the bar functions as his everyday training base as much as a neighborhood cafe.

Coffee is poured from Heresy and Mamam roasters and served in ceramics from the Polish brand AOOMI, with a terrace that spills onto the pedestrian street outside. The banoffee pie and pistachio cheesecake get particular praise from regulars, and dogs are a regular sight at the outdoor tables.
