The Pelican Coffee Company

An independent coffee bar on Pelikangasse in Alsergrund that serves specialty coffee with selfmade pastries, breakfast, brunch and small dishes. The shop invites guests to enjoy the cup inside or outside, and the wooden terrace runs along the street.

The coffee list currently shows a Brazilian espresso and filter coffees from Colombia, Costa Rica and El Salvador, with tasting notes ranging from milk chocolate to rose and wild raspberry. Whole beans are sold in packs at the counter. The bar opens at 07:30 on weekdays and 09:00 on Saturday, with a Saturday brunch from 09:00 to 13:00, and is closed on Sundays. The shop shares news and specials on Instagram, and an online bean shop is planned.
