MANANA cafẽ

The glowing orange neon MANANA wave sign on a patterned wall inside the café, with a dark monstera leaf in the foreground

Dirk Vieth and Julius Ammon built MANANA as a living room for Währing, pairing Dirk's eye for hospitality and design with Julius's insistence on quality and origin in every bean. The room glows with chandeliers, mirrored columns and a neon wave sign, and the coffee behind the counter is specialty grade from its own roasting, served as espresso, V60 filter, cold brew and matcha. The team's barista Julian Tomala placed second at the SCA Austria Latte Art championships in 2025.

The café opens every day, and evenings sometimes turn into small events with wine, music, pop ups and community rides, while a bean shelf and an online shop make it easy to take the house roasts home. Latte art workshops for small groups, taught in English, run here too, and in 2025 neighbors voted MANANA second in the 1000things Community Awards for Vienna's favorite café.
