KAFFEIN Homebase

A third wave coffee shop on Stoß im Himmel, a short lane in the old first district between the Danube Canal and the Ruprechtskirche. It took over the premises of the former Café Elan and keeps a courtyard, which is a pleasant spot in fine weather.

The coffee focus is on rotating organic single origins and blends, brewed as espresso and filter, and the cup is the draw rather than any décor. It is one of two Kaffein addresses in the city. Hours run from 08:00 to 18:00 on weekdays and from 10:00 to 18:00 at the weekend, which makes it a rare central stop that stays open all afternoon. The second Kaffein address, Kaffein Zeitgeist, is on Schulerstraße.
