Revolver Coffee

Revolver has run out of the same Cambie Street space in Gastown since 2011 and is often credited as one of the shops that helped establish Vancouver's specialty coffee scene early on. The room keeps a minimalist look built from wood and metal, and the menu stays short on purpose: a rotating selection of beans from roasters across North America, brewed to order rather than made ahead, across an unusually wide range of manual methods for a shop this size.
There is no WiFi on the network, a house policy meant to keep the counter for people who came for the coffee rather than a laptop. Bags from the current roster of guest roasters are sold to take home, and the shop ships bundles of three bags or more across Canada for anyone who cannot make it back to Cambie Street in person. Open daily except Sunday, it still draws a steady mix of regulars and downtown workers stopping in before a shift.
