Propaganda Coffee

Propaganda sits on East Pender Street at the edge of Chinatown, a small counter built around Canadian roasters only. The lineup rotates through names such as Monogram and Phil and Sebastian, poured as batch brew, single serve pour over, or pulled through a Modbar espresso setup built into the counter. Alongside the coffee the shop runs a matcha and tea program with O5 Tea and a house made chai.
The space is compact and quiet, set into an older Chinatown storefront with window seating that catches the morning light. It has been running since 2015, long enough to become a fixture for the neighborhood rather than a novelty, and stays open seven days a week with slightly shorter hours on Sundays and holidays.
