TALLAT

Lorenzo D'Apolito, an Italian transplant, started TALLAT on three wheels in the summer of 2019, pedaling a mobile coffee cart around El Cabanyal before settling into a permanent home on Calle Barraca a few months later. The name is Valencian for a cortado, a nod to bridging local tradition with modern specialty standards, and the shop runs with the same laid back, sociable feel as the seaside neighborhood around it.

Lorenzo now roasts through a separate training and roasting space called Rabbit Hole Nazaret, running three Aillio Bullet roasters and turning TALLAT into a fully self roasted operation. Workshops and public courses are next on the list, alongside the wider filter coffee selection that's grown since the move off wheels.
