Pals Café

Pals opened in early 2025 on a quiet street in El Botànic and was quickly adopted by the neighborhood. It is run by Ukrainian owners, and the coffee on the bar is roasted by a Ukrainian roaster, which gives the beans a story that is unusual in the city. The room is industrial and modern, with a floor to ceiling front window that opens up completely on warm days so the inside and the street blend together.

A shared table with six seats at the front is set aside for laptops and studying, while the weekend terrace draws a livelier crowd, with an R&B and hip hop soundtrack in the background. Doors open at half past eight on weekdays and at nine at the weekend, and the room stays open a little later in the afternoon on Saturdays and Sundays.
