Borja Specialty Coffee

The white Borja Specialty Coffee shopfront with large black lettering, and a window showing warm pendant lamps against a brick wall

Borja sits a few steps from the City of Arts and Sciences in Camins al Grau, a compact café where cosy describes the atmosphere more than the floor area. The coffee comes from Hola Coffee, the Madrid roasters, and the bar covers everyday espresso as well as an espresso tonic and filter brews made with V60 or Chemex, so it suits a quick stop and a slower look at what is in the hopper alike.

A shaded terrace gives the place much of its character, with the cool interior as the alternative on hot days. On weekends there are musical evenings with a cello, which has helped turn it into a favorite for lingering afternoons. Since opening it has become one of the better known specialty rooms in this part of Valencia, with a following that stretches well beyond the neighborhood.
