Tartatea

Tartatea is an artisan pastry shop and tea room in Turin's Crocetta district, where a specialty coffee bar runs alongside the baking. Tarts and cakes are made in house, and the coffee side is taken as seriously as the pastry. The room is easy to remember: magenta and pink stripes drip down the walls from the ceiling, lit by round glowing mirrors and low globe lamps.

Pink velvet banquettes and small wooden tables fill the room, so a coffee with a slice can be a quick stop or a slow sit. It makes an easy break in the centre of the city for anyone who wants a carefully made cup alongside something sweet from the counter. The entrance and toilet are step free, and dogs are welcome too.
