Orso Laboratorio Caffe

A self described 'laboratorio' rather than a straightforward cafe, Orso in San Salvario leans into an eclectic, vintage aesthetic: mismatched cups, old fashioned wallpaper, a room that reads more like a curiosity shop than a design forward specialty bar. It roasts and packages its own beans, selling both whole bean and pre ground moka format coffee through its own online shop as well as in person, and has since expanded to a second Turin location on Via Cagliari.

San Salvario itself is one of Turin's more multicultural, food forward neighborhoods, a fitting setting for a shop this unconcerned with looking like anyone else's cafe.
