Suedhang Kaffee

A Suedhang coffee bag in kraft paper with a pink sleeve printed in purple, a sun symbol and the words Kibingo Burundi, roasted in Tübingen, against a pink background

Suedhang is a roastery and café in the old town of Tübingen, at Jakobsgasse 4, opened in May 2020 by two founders, Robin and Martin. The roaster works in the ground floor room, and the large front window opens fully onto the lane when the weather allows.

The house style is light roasting, mostly for filter and espresso, and the team is known for treating Canephora, the robusta species, with the same care as arabica. The online shop lists coffees from Colombia, Ethiopia, Burundi, Uganda and Vietnam, each with tasting notes. A coffee school runs courses in latte art, barista skills and cupping.
