Slabberas

Slabberas opened in 2018 at Teknobyen, a university and tech park district near NTNU, as a collaboration between Stjordal based roaster Langora Kaffebrenneri and chefs Hegstad and Blakstad. A second location followed at Gloshaugen in May 2025. The name plays on the Norwegian word for a chat over coffee, and the shop leans into that with a Friday breakfast buffet alongside its regular espresso and filter service.
Rather than roasting its own beans, Slabberas rotates coffee from several Norwegian specialty roasters, including Langora Kaffebrenneri, Pala Kaffebrenneri and Kaffi, plus occasional guest roasters. Pastries come from its own in house bakery, Emmer Handverksbaker, and milk is sourced from Hostadsand Gard in nearby Byneset.
