Vervet Bakeri

Vervet Bakeri opened in November 2020 inside the Corten Building, part of the newer Vervet waterfront district near the Polar Museum, with the company formally registered the following year under managing director Rita Anni Arden. The bakery draws visitors walking the roughly fifteen minute route from the Hurtigruten terminal as much for its bread as for its coffee.

Coffee comes from Solberg og Hansen, sourced from India and ground fresh daily rather than roasted on site, and served alongside the bakery's fresh bread and pastries. The room is wheelchair accessible, with window seating looking out toward the waterfront district around it.
