La Fiancee

Olivier Coulomb and Arnaud Pimenta opened La Fiancee on Rue Peyrolieres in September 2012, a short walk from Place du Capitole, as the first specialty coffee shop in Toulouse. The business has since grown to a second Toulouse address at Place Saint Sernin and a location in Marseille, though the original Peyrolieres room, with its espresso bar and mezzanine seating, remains the flagship.
The espresso machine is a Kees van der Westen Mirage paired with an Anfim grinder, pulling shots from beans supplied by Rightside in Barcelona and Cafe Coutume in Paris, with two single origin coffees always on offer as V60 pour over alongside cold brew and iced coffee. The kitchen serves an a la carte brunch every day from morning until midafternoon, with plates built around eggs, pancakes, buns and a rotating daily special.
