Kopi Coffee Shop

Christophe opened Kopi on Place du Salin in March 2022 with his parents Luc and Sarah, naming the shop after the Malay and Singaporean word for coffee as a nod to the family's years living and traveling through Southeast Asia. Luc runs the kitchen while Christophe handles the coffee program, and the small room fills up with vinyl records playing over a mostly regulars crowd.

The beans come from a local Toulouse roaster, served as espresso, filter and a nitrogen pressurized cold brew, alongside homemade babka, cinnamon rolls and a pastry called the Kopine that carries the shop's name. A Saturday brunch set pairs a hot drink and fresh juice with yogurt granola, a savory bun and Kaiserschmarrn, and the weekday lunch menu changes daily between a meat and a vegetarian plate.
