Carbonic Coffee Dundas West

Donna Huang opened the first Carbonic Coffee in Baldwin Village in 2019, and the Dundas West cafe is her second, set in the space long home to Hamers Coffee. Huang is also the head roaster at Hale Coffee and a co owner of The Angry Roaster, so the cafe comes with a roaster's palate, and the room has a clean, quiet look that suits the focus on what is in the cup.

The heart of the menu is pour over coffee from a rotating group of roasters, alongside house made drinks such as a matchagato and seasonal lemonades, award winning ice cream, and a few wines and beers for later in the day. The cafe doubles as a neighbourhood hub, hosting live music nights, running club meetups and pop up food events.
