Little Darling Coffee Roasters

Little Darling Coffee Roasters opened inside a converted industrial warehouse at Share Green Minami Aoyama, a redevelopment that turned a stretch of the neighborhood into a green plaza ringed by independent shops and a weekly farmers market. The roastery is run day to day by head barista Naoya Akagawa, a finalist at the Coffee Fest Latte Art World Championship, who hand selects five bean varieties each season and roasts them on site rather than buying stock that was already roasted elsewhere.
The building keeps the bones of its former industrial life, raw concrete and steel against a wide lawn where guests spread out across roughly sixty seats between the indoor room and an open air terrace that allows dogs. Hand drip, espresso, and a seasonal almond milk flat white sit on the counter beside bao, sandwiches, and baked goods, and the shop closes on Thursdays along with occasional private event days announced on Instagram.
