Leaves Coffee Roasters is the town roastery of Yasuo Ishii, a former professional boxer from Fukagawa who taught himself to brew and roast after a gift of coffee changed his direction in 2010. The shop opens only four days a week so the rest of the time can go to roasting, and it has indoor and outdoor seating a few minutes from Ryogoku Station.

The roasts are clean and light, aimed at a balance of acidity and sweetness, and Sprudge named Leaves a Notable Roaster in both 2021 and 2022. Ishii finished second at the 2025 Japan Brewers Cup Championship.
