KURO MAME Tokyo

The warmly lit counter at KURO MAME Tokyo, with two black gooseneck kettles and brewers on a pale counter, glowing wall niches of jars and glasses, and pale wooden stools

KURO MAME Tokyo opened in 2025 on the Kamiyacho Place complex as the Tokyo counter of MAME, the Zurich roaster, bringing its precise roasting into a more intimate setting. It was founded by Emi Fukahori, a World Brewers Cup champion, together with Mathieu Theis.

There is no fixed menu. Baristas talk with each guest and choose from a wide range of competition grade coffees to match taste and mood, at a small counter that is booked ahead. A takeaway window serves simpler drinks for people who do not want to wait.
