Koffee Mameya Kakeru

The glass fronted Koffee Mameya Kakeru at dusk, with a timber lined entrance tunnel, a pale counter lit from below and a wall of coffee jars behind it

Koffee Mameya Kakeru is the Kiyosumi Shirakawa sister of Koffee Mameya in Omotesando, set in a high ceilinged former book publishing warehouse. The front is a takeaway counter for beans and drinks, while the back has counter seats facing the baristas.

Seated guests can work through tasting courses that compare roasts prepared in different ways, with small sweets made to pair with each brew. The shop also runs occasional evenings with bartenders and pastry chefs, announced on Instagram.
