Thrive Coffee House

Thrive Coffee House opened in March 2025 in a light filled corner building in the Geuzenkwartier, run by owner Rob de Heer with a stated goal of using coffee to bring people together rather than simply serving a fast cup. The bar pours beans roasted by Roast Factory and backs the coffee menu with croissants, homemade granola, cakes and lunch sandwiches assembled at a local social employment workshop, plus a small selection of natural wines and beers from area brewers.
Beyond the counter, the shop runs its own program of small community events, from movie nights to panel discussions on social themes, treating the room as a gathering space as much as a cafe. It has a sunny terrace out front and stays open most of the week, closing only on Thursdays.
