Filtro sits a short walk from the Hofvijver pond in the Kortenbos quarter, a lunchroom sized cafe built around letting customers pick which beans go into their filter coffee rather than serving a single fixed brew. The kitchen leans into a mezze style menu of bagels filled with homemade kimchi, hummus and baba ganoush alongside panini, banana bread and muffins, and the drinks list stretches into matcha lattes and a rose flavored espresso drink.

A minimalist interior opens onto a small garden at the back, giving the shop an outdoor seating option that is unusual for its dense city center block. It runs the same hours daily, opening at nine and staying open into the evening.
