Cruffin

Cruffin runs out of Aparaaditehas, the converted factory complex that has become Tartu's creative quarter, a courtyard of workshops and studios well away from the postcard old town. The bakery itself works from a three day sourdough process, and the ovens turn out both the croissant pastry the shop is named for and a full case of loaves, with the same dough underpinning weekend brunch plates of turkish eggs and toasted sandwiches on the terrace.
Coffee here comes from Paper Mill, the Tallinn roastery whose beans Cruffin has built its espresso and filter program around rather than defaulting to a generic house blend, and the flat white is a standing favorite among regulars. The Aparaaditehas location runs longer hours from Friday through Sunday than on weekdays, closes for the day by evening, and welcomes dogs alongside the strollers that come through for brunch.
