Pyymäen Aira

Rows of green rattan bistro chairs and marble top tables outside the ornate corner storefront of Pyymäen Aira

Pyymäen Aira opened on Tampere's main pedestrian street, Hämeenkatu, as a newer, more ambitious address for a bakery group with roots that go back decades in the city under the Pyymäen name. Fresh bread from the shop's own bakery, artisan pastries, and a full weekday breakfast and lunch buffet share the counter with a specialty coffee program, wine, and cocktails available into the evening.

Weekend brunch runs late enough to catch a slow Saturday or Sunday, and the all day menu spans from an early breakfast crowd through dinner service, giving Aira a longer working day than most of the coffee only rooms nearby.
