The Surf Café

Estonia's first surf themed coffee shop occupies a corner inside Balti Jaama Turg, the three level market hall that mixes food stalls with vintage shops a short walk from Old Town. A vintage surfboard hangs on the wall and colorful mugs replace the usual minimalist ceramics, a small dose of beach energy in a city better known for its medieval streets than its coastline.
Coffee comes from Shokunin Coffee Collective, a Rotterdam roaster, poured through an espresso led menu that keeps things simple. The market setting brings a rotating crowd of shoppers rather than a dedicated cafe regular base, and the team has picked up recognition in local barista competitions. Dogs are welcome around the stall.
