Paper Mill Coffee

Margus Varvas and Kristel Parts founded Paper Mill in 2020 after years spent in London's coffee scene, roasting out of a former fire station that once served the city's Cellulose and Paper Factory, a building the name still points back to. Around thirty different coffees pass through the roastery over a given year, mostly light to medium profiles built for filter and cold brew as much as espresso.

The Masina location has grown into a small local group, this flagship plus outposts at Volta and inside the Viru foodcourt, and the roastery has picked up recognition well beyond Tallinn, including a spot among Europe's best coffee shops. Dogs are welcome, and the wheelchair accessible room has become a regular stop for the neighborhood's laptop crowd.
