KOKOMO Coffee Roasters

Kokomo traces back to 2013, when its founder ran a pop up cafe in Koguva, a small historic fishing port on Muhu Island, before formally establishing the roastery in Tallinn in 2015. That nautical origin story still shapes the branding today, retail bags carry a distinctive country of origin stamp design that nods to the shop's maritime roots.

The current home sits in a converted industrial building on the Kopli peninsula, roasting single origin lots served through V60 or Chemex alongside espresso. Kokomo is widely credited, alongside Coffee People, as one of the two roasters that pulled Tallinn's coffee scene away from commercial chains and toward specialty, opening space for the roasters that followed. Dogs are welcome, and the room stays wheelchair accessible with vegan milk options on the menu.
