Paper St. Coffee Company

The corner storefront of Paper St. Coffee Company with raised PAPER ST. lettering above a wide street level window onto the cafe

Paper St. takes its name from Fight Club's paper street, a road that exists on a map but not in real life, and opened across from Huashan 1914 Creative Park around 2015. The corner room sits behind a wide glass frontage with PAPER ST. spelled out above the window, built as a plain, minimal space meant to feel like a break from the street outside rather than a design statement in itself.

The menu runs single origin pour overs alongside espresso drinks and cold drip, with rotating guest beans from outside roasters served next to Peruvian and other origin coffees. There is no time limit on seats by the window, and the shop has kept its corner spot near Zhongxiao Xinsheng station for about a decade, enough to mark its own tenth anniversary.
