Daily Dose Café

The counter at Daily Dose Café, with a menu board, retail coffee bags on shelves, and pendant lights overhead

Three people who each separately imagined running a cafe like this eventually met and opened Daily Dose together, six years after any of them first had the idea, in a converted space on Lengyel utca. The name doubles as a description: a new wave coffee shop and a community meeting spot in one small room, pouring a well regarded light roast program.

Flat white and cappuccino lead the espresso list, and a little garden out back gives the shop its own outdoor space away from the street. Free WiFi and laptop friendly tables make it a genuine work spot by day, and the wheelchair accessible entrance and seating extend to a step free toilet as well.
