Founders Samuel Lee and Quinton Ng, the pair behind the boundary pushing cafe Double Cross, stripped their next project down to one idea: only coffee. There is no food menu on Willoughby Road, just a rotating lineup of beans from roasters like Melbourne's Market Lane and New York's Sey Coffee, the latter introduced to Australia here first.

Pour overs arrive in small sensory cups meant to isolate aroma before the first sip, alongside batch brew and espresso pulled against a sleek industrial backdrop of limited bar seating and a couple of outdoor tables. Milk options are kept just as deliberate, full cream, skim, or Oatly oat, in a narrow Crows Nest shopfront that earned a spot among the World's 100 Best Coffee Shops and the title of Oceania's Best Coffee Shop for 2026.
