Redback Specialty Coffee

Redback started small, a husband and wife team pulling espresso and pastries out of a takeaway counter that opened at 6am, hours nobody else in Surabaya was keeping at the time. The crowds that built around that early slot pushed them into a bigger space inside the Graha Famili complex, where the dining room now looks straight out over the golf course.

The roastery still runs its own beans through an ISO 22000 HACCP certified process, supplying wholesale and white label accounts alongside the cafe. Cakes and pastries share the counter with the coffee list, and both the indoor room and the terrace facing the green stay busy through a kitchen built around Western style plates.
