Fietsen Radcafé

Fietsen calls itself Stuttgart's first bicycle café, and the bike racks lining Silberburgstraße out front back that up, usually full of road and gravel bikes belonging to the riders inside. A Slayer machine pulls the espresso, and the nitro cold brew, infused with nitrogen through a cold water brew, has become one of the house specialties alongside flat whites and moccacinos.
Food comes packed into small wooden boxes whether you are staying or heading out, with weekend breakfasts of muesli and sourdough brioche giving way through the day to fresh croissants and sheet cakes. The café doubles as a hub for the local cycling scene, with an in house mechanic on hand, spare parts for sale, and a calendar that includes group rides, race broadcasts and the occasional live podcast recording. It stays open later than most cafés nearby, until 9pm on weekdays.
