Volca Coffee Roasters

Set on Kungsholmen, an island neighborhood quieter and more residential than Sodermalm's busier cafe strips, Volca positions itself explicitly as a roaster (sourcing lots from Latin America, Ethiopia, and Congo) with a room that blends Scandinavian minimalism with rustic, subtly industrial touches rather than committing fully to either look. A notably Latin American, particularly Colombian, character runs through the staff and offering, distinguishing it from Stockholm's more uniformly Nordic coded cafes.

Hours run a shorter, mid morning to late afternoon schedule than most cafes in the city. Beans are sold via the company's own site.
