Stockholm Roast

Stockholm Roast runs out of a converted forklift garage in Slakthusomradet, Johanneshov, founded in 2011 by Johan Montan Ahlgren and Oner Kulbay with the goal of challenging both the coffee industry and people's taste buds. The roastery moved into this address in summer 2020 and now works as a roastery, coffee bar, retail shop and showroom under one roof, with bags of house roasted beans stacked on steel shelving against the building's original timber doors.

Filter coffee and espresso are both on the everyday menu alongside grilled sandwiches and salads, served at a handful of indoor tables and a small outdoor terrace. On select Friday evenings through the summer the space turns into a natural wine bar, extending hours well past the usual afternoon close.
