Tinel Specialty Coffee Shop

The stone facade of Tinel Specialty Coffee Shop in a Split alley, with a hanging TINEL sign, an open timber door showing the menu board and espresso setup inside, and a Coffee To Go chalkboard at the entrance

Head barista Matej Serer runs the counter at Tinel, pulling beans from top regional roasters like Slovenia's Stow and Split's own kava.family rather than a single house name. The Varoš setting keeps it bright, airy, and calmer than the more tourist facing rooms closer to the palace walls, a genuine local favorite for people wanting to sit and work rather than pass through.

The brand has since expanded to Trogir with two additional addresses, but this Split original remains the reference room. A long stay friendly layout, with tables built for a three to five hour session, has made it one of the better regarded spots in the city for anyone bringing a laptop.
