One Eleven Coffee Roastery

One Eleven is the roastery of Attila Molnár, who has won the Hungarian barista championship four times and in 2009 became the only Hungarian ever to reach the final of the World Barista Championship. Coffee has been his profession for more than fifteen years, and the roastery on Baross út carries that focus through the whole space, roasting for the espresso bar up front and for bags that go home with guests.
Upstairs sits Opusz Terem, a tasting room built around coffee that Molnár opened in late 2023, offering a menu of seven or eight courses that treats coffee as a serious part of a meal rather than something poured at the end. Downstairs stays simpler: filter and espresso roasts served in a calm, modern room with plenty of greenery, plus workshops for anyone who wants to learn the craft rather than just drink it. The roastery sits south of Sopron's old town near the railway station, a short walk from Várkerület, and keeps a shorter week than the cafes downtown, open only Tuesday through Friday.
